*Rosalyn Fung is a Self-Love Life & Business Coach for Women and Entrepreneurs. She is PASSIONATE about specializing in helping women entrepreneurs who suffer from “not enough syndrome”: self-sabotaging behaviours, overwhelm, burn out, and lack confidence to put themselves out there, by shifting core beliefs and develop business strategy systems so they can ultimately get more clients, make more money and CREATE HIGH IMPACT in this world.

Do you have a favourite self care or self love ritual or routine that you do daily? Why? And how does it help you?

As an entrepreneur, it’s INCREDIBLY important for me to be grounded both in mind, body and spirit.

At night, I look at my calendar and make a checklist of what I am going to focus on the next day. This helps me stay focused and clear. When I don’t do this, I feel scattered.

As a daily ritual, I love to exercise first thing in the AM, followed by a meditation with self-reiki. I sometimes also pull out cards (I LOVE Gabby Bernstein’s The Univ...

Wondering about what I do as a Holistic Nutrition professional?

Graduates like myself, from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN), are dedicated holistic nutrition professionals who educate individuals about the health benefits of natural nutrition. Holistic nutrition is a special combination of modern science and time-tested wisdom based on the philosophy that each person has unique nutritional requirements.

I am trained to recognize that the interactive mind-body-spirit factors are specific to each client and that each must be addressed in order for the client to feel and remain well.

I am Certified in Holistic Nutrition; I typically evaluate my clients’ nutritional needs by identifying symptoms that indicate health imbalances. I then provide individualized health plans, which include nutrient-dense whole foods, lifestyle recommendations and/or natural source supplements in order to help bring the client’s health back to a state of equilibrium. I assess my clients’ health thro...

Perhaps it sounds "crunchy" but, I truly believe that a healthy life is all about balance.

I am slowly regaining mine or, maybe I actually was never truly in balance before?

Cancer survivors often talk about a "new normal" post-treatment. For me, I am working on balance in my body, mind and spirit; a holistic approach. This is my "new normal"; finding happy.

Currently I am pursuing my studies as a Holistic Nutrition Practitioner/Consultant. I am more aware now of my actions and their effects on myself and the people and world around me. I am more aware of how my body runs as a complex machine and how to fuel it for peak performance on physical, cognitive an emotional levels. I love learning about the neurological and physiological relationships that exist in our bodies and how nutrition impacts and supports these interactions and functions. It is like magic and science all rolled up in one.

And it really does prove; you can not pour from an empty cup.

After my first ba...

The more I learn in my holistic course the more I am trying to change certain things in my life. One of these areas of change has been my focus on personal hygiene products such as shampoo, soap, anti-perspirant, toothpaste and face scrub.  These 5 items are the backbone of my hygiene routine however, they are also chock full of things I can't pronounce, some that I can, and many that have proven links to toxic and negative effects on human physiology.

Lets start this series out by talking ARMPITS.

Yup, armpits.

Those sometimes sweaty, stinky, smooth or hairy pits that are nestled under our arms at the shoulder joint and stuck along the side of our torsos when our arms are at rest. Did you know that here are more than 20 lymph nodes (small lumps of tissue that are part of the body's lymphatic system, which helps fight infection) in the armpit. The skin of the armpit area is quite thin and therefore absorption of chemicals can happen more easily. Applying something that contains chem...
